[ In the wee hours of Thursday morning, a nicely wrapped parcel with a small chocolate cake has been left in the mailbox.

A typewritten note addressed to you is attached that reads as follows:

“Please take this in good faith.

I apologise for any inconveniences or hardships that have been caused by a resident named Italy.
