[Huh, well that wasn't so hard to find out at all. This dare of the Landlord's turned out better than he'd thought.]

Is the club currently reading a book? How do meetings work here, for that matter?

Right now, the recommended book is The Little Prince by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry. Reading it is not mandatory, but we encourage it.

And meetings...we talk about the featured book, anything else we've been reading, and have storytelling games. Oh, and there's tea and snacks, too. [You're inviting freeloaders with that kind of advertisement, Hisami.]

[Luckily! Cheren will not be a freeloader, he will actively participate in the book club.]

I'll be sure to pick up a copy before the next meeting, in that case. I might be a little behind come meeting-time, so I apologize for that.

You can borrow it from the library too. And there aren't any deadlines. It's really okay.

Still, it's no fun to discuss if people aren't around the same part of the book, right? You'll wind up having to avoid spoilers for the people further behind.

Oh...I didn't think of that. That's a good point. Even if some people say they're okay with it, there'll be others who aren't.

Personally I don't mind them, but I wouldn't want to inconvenience someone who does.

Maybe discussions on the book of the month should be every two weeks instead of every week, so people can catch up?

What would we do during the meetings where we didn't discuss the book of the month, then? Maybe discuss other book recommendations, or have time to sit quietly and read? [he is good with both, jsyk]
